    100% Sangiovese
Badia al Colle or "Abby on the Hill" is produced in Castellina in the heart of the Chianti Classico hills.  This wine is made from vines just outside of the Chianti Classico district and is aged for three months stainless steel to preserve the freshness of the Sangiovese grape and allow for early drinkability.  This fruit-forward wine has a classic black berry front with a soft and easy drinking personality.

    100% Nero d'Avola
Very dark purple, with a reddish-violet edge, typical of this grape.  Black plums, a hint of licorice and subtle spice, not overly complex but appealing. A big mouth full of juicy black fruit is well structured by tart acidity and soft but distinct tannins. Quite a wine.  Touch of cherries, hint of prunes and a little bit of mint with firm tannins and a lingering finish.  This is a big, unctuous wine with spicy, Zinfandel-like jammy notes.

    100% Nero d'Avola
Diego & Alberto Cusumano’s winery is in Partinico (just west of Palermo).  They craft wines of the ‘new’ Sicily typified by outstanding varietal expression, rich flavors, and a sensuality that could only be born under the Sicilian sun.  Nero d’Avola is the “Holy Grail” of Sicilian red grapes, and produces a rich, full-bodied, spicy red of immense proportions.  This is new world Nero d’Avola at it’s best -

"You cannot get better value than this. Ripe berry notes, cassis, molasses and cola serve as a preface for the thick texture and smooth density that this wine delivers to the palate. The wine is thick and succulent with smooth tannins and great length: excellent quality for this very low price.  A best Buy.  Outstanding.  Score 90."

    100% Nero d'Avola
"Colosi's 2008 Nero d'Avola is a fresh, vinous offering loaded with perfumed red fruit. Ideally the wine needs a few months to recover from its recent bottling, as the full range of aromas and flavors remains rather muted at this stage. This soft, supple Nero d'Avola offers terrific quality for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.  Very good.  Score 89. "

    100% Barbera
The fruit is sourced from a vineyard near Langhe, A hilly zone in the South of Piedmont, bordered by Liguriu from vines planted in 1970.  Fermented in stainless steel than transferred to oak barrels for three months before bottling without fining and filtration.  A delicate perfumed nose of blackberry.  Medium-bodied, harmonious and velvety, with that classic choke-cherry acid-crispness.
